I am an author of children’s books, poet, editor, and voice-over talent. I have also been a non-profit development professional who spent two decades as an advocate and fundraiser for persons with disabilities.
My life experiences inform my work. My voice over portfolio includes documentaries, educational programs, journalistic initiatives, and audio books.
I have published children’s books in India and the United States, including A Pie Surprise and Other Stories (DC/Mango Books), Indi-Alphabet (Mango and Marigold Press), and How Many Lines in a Limerick? (Clear Fork Publishing). My writing has also been anthologized by Tulika Books, Solstice Publishing, and Skipping Stones magazine.
My work has been showcased at book fairs and festivals and is part of Indian school curricula. My essays and reviews have been published in India Currents and Scroll.in.
